Problem

My friend works at a furniture company. When I tried to look at their online catalog, it seems to be very disorganized. The items are not under groups that are general enough for people to know what they are.

Solution

To create a website as the company's online catalog for clients to browse through and see specifications for the furniture.

My responsibilities

Conducting user research, wireframing, low and high-fidelity prototyping, conducting usability studies, and iterating designs. Designing information architecture for the website, and creating responsive design.

Target audience

I conducted research using Google Forms targeting mainly people between 26 to 45. I asked them questions such as how they usually shop for furniture and home goods, as well as why would they prefer or not prefer to shop online.
