Being a lighting artist in visual effects, I love creating imageries with lights and shadows. Photography is another way for me to expand the horizon.
Mobile Photography
Some of the most beautiful moments happen unexpectedly — in a quiet street, a fleeting shadow, or a bloom catching the afternoon light.

This collection captures everyday scenes through the lens of a mobile phone, where spontaneity meets observation. Without elaborate equipment, these images focus on composition, light, texture, and storytelling, revealing how powerful visual narratives can emerge from ordinary moments.

For me, mobile photography is both a creative practice and a visual diary — a way to document the world with immediacy, curiosity, and an ever-present eye for design.
Food Photography
I was truly honored to be part of the journey in capturing the essence of each dish for the "Food with Soul" Cookbook produced by LifeWorks Restaurant Group! A huge thank you to our incredible Field Marketing Director, Becky Brewer, and our visionary Chief Culinary Officer, John Ryan, for their leadership and creativity in bringing this photoshoot project to life. A heartfelt congratulations to all the talented chefs whose recipes are featured in this stunning cookbook – your passion and dedication are absolutely inspiring!
Food Photography
I have a passion for different arts and crafts including culinary art and food photography. Taking photos of my creations is very fun and rewarding. I learned and practiced how to set up for food photography using different props and backdrops.
 Each month, the coffee bar will feature special drink and dessert. The photos are being used on TV promotional signage as well. |  Center One Cafe offered Valentine's Day meal that's chef prepped and ready to go. Product Photography
I did the product photography for different clients, including Gumoli and Lakin Silver. Gumoli offers various products such as dried mushroom cookies and fresh mushrooms. Dried mushroom cookies are excellent to enjoy with Chinese or Japanese tea, so for the first series, I chose lines from a Chinese poem on the delicacy of mushrooms written by Sung Dynasty poet, Wanli Yang. Dried mushroom cookies are also a healthy choice for children's snacks, thus for the second series, I tried to be more playful when I arranged the scenes. I incorporated tiny glass mushrooms and vegetable toys to bring out the delight and fun.

As for Lakin Silver, I tried to showcase each customized jewelry piece with simple and neutral backgrounds. Another reason why I did not choose colorful backdrops is the silver jewelries will reflect the colors, and might misguide the viewers of their original colors. Grace and elegance are what I aimed to achieve with the promotional ads. These images are also being used in the annual tabletop calendar, which are gifts for the VIP customers.
